Our Mission
Fort Awesome is a small production company made up of a passionate group of filmmakers. In order to follow our dreams, we abide by the core principle that good story telling is created through hard work. Real estate videos are a natural fit for our company. Let us use our film expertise to create a video that suites your needs.
Below is a first look at our latest film, Button. The script was a finalist at LA Shorts Fest and recently wrapped up production. By Hiring the Fort, you will not only get the best videos for the best price, but you will help us fund our next project.

How it works.
After filming the package of your choice, we swiftly produce a rough cut edit. The rough cut consists of the selected clips in "roughly" the right order. We then email a scaled down (saves bandwidth) version of video to discuss direction. After changed are implemented, we send over a new draft that's pretty close to, if not the final version of, the video. If you're not happy, you don't pay.
Group Deals
If you book 2 or more videos, we will take $50 off each package. We have several other options available as well. Just head over to Hire the Fort and let us know what you need. Be sure to include a phone number where we can reach you.
FAQ:
Do you use professional quality equipment?
Yes. We shoot primarily with DSLR's. We do this for two reasons:
1.) The size and weight of the camera makes it easy to fit into tight spaces and get at special angles.
2.) DSLR’s are easy to work with. We can have the footage in a non-linear editor ready to export in no time.
Do you use drones?
Right now we don't have a drone. We are not opposed to renting a drone because they are a lot of fun. Drones offer a unique prospective of a property; great for establishing a unique location (such as an island resort).
Why should we hire a videographer to make our real estate video?
Often, a video is a clients first introduction to a property. It gives a client the unique opportunity to see if a house meets their needs before scheduling a time to see it in person. By shooting a “first person” video, the client is able to envision themselves inside the home.
How far are you willing to travel?
We are willing to travel to most places. However, San Diego County is a big place so if it’s super far, a small travel fee may be applied.

The special offer is good till December 20th 2015. Give us a try! You won’t be disappointed.
