About
Michael is a graduate of California State University, Long Beach with a B.A. in English, Creative Writing. He is a writer by nature but is pursuing a career in film festivals and events. When Michael is not working on the next great American Screenplay, you can find him at a local film festival either as staff or patron.
He has worked at several festivals in production and coordinating volunteers including Los Angeles Film Festival, Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles, Dances with Films, and most recently Turner Classic Film Festival.
Michael is a huge fan of visual and literary arts, for leisure he loves to spend hours in used book stores, movie theaters, or local concert venues.
He currently has written four shorts under the fort and is in process of creating a web series on talented but struggling people transplanted to Los Angeles in hopes of making it Big. Last year Michael finished the first draft of his first Feature length screenplay "Drinking". This Fall he will begin pursuing an MFA in Screenwriting at CSU Fullerton.
