About Gabriel
Gabriel Lara was born and raised in southern California. Immediately after high school he joined the military, this experience and travels that came with it have influenced his work ethic and perspective of different world views.
Upon completion of his tour of duty he enrolled in the LBCC Film Directors program. Gabriel's passion for storytelling and invoking emotion has led to him to produce several skits and shorts. These productions helped brand his certain style of humor and storytelling. The film program would also serve as the place where the future members of Fort Awesome would come from.
Gabriel's other projects have tackled issues of the bond of brothers in trying times, while another explored the comedic aspects of finding a job in a desired field. Gabriel was a key aspect of Penguin Soup, a short film that became the founding of Fort Awesome.
While at Fort Awesome new projects are already underway for Gabriel.
